Most of the time I go to a session fully prepared with poses that I think would work for that particular session.  Usually, I end up ditching those poses and just go with what works.  You might say that I am somewhat spontaneous and I will know it when I see it.  When you have a session with Ben and Brooke, they can take spontaneous to a whole new level.  Sprinkled throughout this blog post you will see what I mean and how others might interpret what I say. Brookie and Ben's session is a perfect example of just having fun with your session..and why not?

Brookie and Ben, it is always an adventure and so much fun when we do a photo session.  Thank you for showing my clients that we DO have fun on sessions and that's what it is all about.  I love you guys!

I am sure Ben thought I said, "Put your foreheads together and make a funny face."

I said, "Brookie, lean up against the wall and Ben lean in for a kiss." Ben hears, "Brookie, lean up against the wall and go in for Brookie like a vampire."

I say, "Ben, look up at Brookie and Brookie put your noses together.  Brookie hears....."Brookie, bite Ben's nose off."

But then, I get this, which I love, and it's all good!

I say, "Walk toward me holding hands, laughing softly and look at each other." No explanation needed.

Now, "Turn around and go the other way and when I call you, look back".  Umm, "Let's try that one again..haha" "Oh wait, while we are on the bridge..what about the "prom pose"....?

I say, "How about just a nice little smile." Ben hears, "Make a face like you smell something bad."

I say, "Brookie, go behind the fence and stand up on the other side." Ben says, "NO, I want to stand on the fence!"
