Jake celebrated his 2nd birthday last week. Jake is the first cousin to Kylie and Anna so they were excited when they got to go with me for his session.  On the way, they told me all about Jake.  They said, "He really doesn't smile for pictures."  I assured them that it was fine and that I was sure we would get some smiles out of him. I think Jake's favorite part of the session was sliding off of the hay bale....at least that's how we got him warmed up to the idea that I was going to take his picture.  After that, we didn't have any trouble at all getting Jake to smile! We had screaming matches (Jake won!), the girls climbed on the hay bale to try to get Jake to sit with them (Kylie fell off), we played peek-a-boo, and I did my best to keep up with Jake who was on the move the whole time.  It was a really fun time! 

Jake, it was fun playing with you on your birthday. I hope you had a good time!
