Nathan and Elizabeth are getting married in August of 2016.  Nathan is from California and Elizabeth grew up right here in Rockbridge County, Virginia.  So how in the world did these two meet, date, and now are going to be married? Nathan and Elizabeth met playing touch football in Frederick, MD. The league was a social sports league with the purpose of meeting new people. Their team was called the Mud Dogs! Nathan joined with friends from work, and Elizabeth joined with her Frederick roommate. They were put on a random team together. Elizabeth immediately noticed Nathan as the most handsome man on the team. Nathan noticed Elizabeth's big smile and that she could hold her own on the football field! After a few games and team outings, Nathan finally asked for Elizabeth's number and if he could take her to dinner. To this day, Elizabeth has Nathan's phone number in her phone as "Nathan Mud Dogs."  They have managed their long distance relationship for half of the time they've been together.  Needless to say they cherish the times when they are  together and they can't wait to start their life growing in this happy love they have found!

For Nathan and Elizabeth's engagement session they picked locations and themes that were near and dear to their hearts.....Elizabeth's family church and the farm that Elizabeth grew up on.  They played some football, which was only fitting considering that is how they met, and we rode up and down the hills at the farm.  It was a perfect evening and the views were breathtaking.

Nathan and Elizabeth, I am so happy that I get to share in your special day! Elizabeth, I have watched you grow up into a beautiful young woman and I am so happy that you have found someone who makes you so happy ....Nathan is just awesome!
