It was a gorgeous fall day for Andrew and Brooke's engagement session and we had a blast.  These two and Zoey, Andrew and Brooke's sweet dog, were so easy to work with and they were so excited for their session!

Just wait until you hear their story! It all began in 1995, the year they both were born. Literally the day after Brooke was born on February 13, along came Andrew one day later on February 14 in the same hospital! How ironic that their first interaction with each other was in hospital nursery on Valentine's Day! But wait, it gets better! Andrew and Brooke's mothers shared a hospital room but they did not know each other at the time. Who knew some 20 years later, they would be a part of each other's family! Years passed and it wasn't until Andrew and Brooke's junior year at Rockbridge County High School that they had class together and they both started noticing one another. They talked for a while then finally they dated. It was fate! Valentine's Day should always be very special for these two!

Fast forward to now ......Andrew proposed to Brooke outside her front door along with their puppy Zoey. There is no doubt that Zoey would have a part in the proposal as she is obviously such a big part of this little family! Andrew tried to distract Brooke by saying he had bought a new toy for Zoey and had to go outside to his truck to get it. When he came back he went to the front door to tell Brooke to come and see Zoey's new toy. Brooke opened the door and both Andrew and Zoey were on one knee and Zoey had the ring box in her mouth! Of course Brooke said YES!! Andrew and Brooke will be married on September 9, 2017 at The Irvine Estate at House Mountain.

Andrew and Brooke, thanks for a perfect engagement session. You guys rock!! I can't wait to have just as much fun at your wedding next year!
