This is me and my husband, Bobby, of almost 40 years. I feel like if you come to your session knowing a little bit about me and my quirkiness that  you will be a little more relaxed for your session. Heck, maybe you can even relate.....so this is my attempt at 50 random facts about me. Enjoy and don't judge..haha. Check here for some more serious stuff.

1. I met my husband at at the roller skating rink in Buena Vista.
2. I am shy.
3. Laughing at myself comes very easy to me.
4. Playing the radio in the car irritates me although it is broken right now and it is driving me crazy.
5. I am allergic to seafood.
6. When I was growing up I wanted to be a teacher.
7. I am a morning person.  I wake up, immediately get up and get started with my day. 
8. I took piano lessons as a child and my piano teacher often slept through my lessons….that probably explains why I’m not very good at it.
9. I love reality TV shows…some of my favorites are:  Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Naked and Afraid, American Idol, the Biggest Loser (Dolvett is my idol) and Dance Moms…but I always DVR the shows so I can fast forward through commercials. 
10. I can’t sit through a full movie without going to sleep…even in the theater. I even once slept through Mary Poppins on Broadway. (Yes! I did).
11. I love Diet Dr. Pepper even though my doctor told me I shouldn’t drink it.
12. I am a little absent minded having done some questionable things like: finding one of my earrings in a tylenol bottle, making coffee and forgetting to put the coffee in, and the latest that happened just today, told the cashier while digging in my purse for my wallet that I didn't have it and she pointed out that it was in my hand!
13. I pretty much panic when I can’t find my car in the parking lot at Walmart and I have to wander around the parking lot looking like I know exactly where I am going.
14. I really don’t  enjoy reading with the exception of sitting for hours reading and researching photography related stuff.
15. My family means the world to me and they are my biggest support system.
16. I can’t cook and my sister is technically challenged…so it works out perfectly…she cooks and I fix her computer!
17. We have dinner at my sister’s house at least once a week. (Remember…I can’t cook).
18. I love and collect vintage cameras but I am very selective in my choices and it has to be a great bargain.
19. I don’t drive on the interstate.
20. I really don’t like beef…much prefer chicken and salmon.
21. My grandchildren call me Mammy.  It was supposed to be Grammy…but it came out “Mammy” and it melted my heart. They are my loves.
22. I often call my granddaughters "little pretties".
23. I love technology and I work in the technology department at Buena Vista City Schools.
24. I have to have the latest technology…have to!
25. I have always wanted to go by train on a trip.  Last fall we rode the train from Richmond to Florida and the train hit a car on the tracks ending in a fatality.  I marked that off my bucket list really fast.
26. Amazing Grace is my favorite song and I pretty much cry every time I hear it (or sing it). 
27. I have always wanted to ride in a hot air balloon (not a  tethered one either).
28. John Travolta is my celebrity crush.
29. I love Big Bang Theory and Sheldon.
30. I can swim but I get frightened when I can’t touch the bottom.
31. I amaze my family at how much I know about football (haha).
32. I am not a pet person and I am kinda scared of cats.
33. On my birth certificate, My name is Catherine,  marked out and Cathy is written in, but my mother taught me to spell my name Kathy…I know…I haven’t figured that one out myself and it has caused quite a few problems.
34. I don’t really like shopping malls and crowded stores and probably don’t make a very good shopping buddy unless you want to go to antique shops, vintage thrift stores, and flea markets.
35. I don’t like to fly….just knowing I am in a closed space and can’t get out freaks me out.
36. I hate elevators (again..the closed space)…BUT I once rode an elevator to the top of the empire state building…WHAT??
37. I recently became addicted to Netflix.
38. I a have a little OCD.  Everything has to be in it’s place…can’t stand clutter and I am very organized.
39. I love peanut butter.
40. My pet peeve is : someone who finishes their ice tea or drink of choice with ice …in a plastic cup (especially in a plastic cup... seriously, i could scream right now just thinking about it)….and they  jiggle the ice around to get the last drink.  Drives me crazy!!
41. I hate to go grocery shopping…as long as I have peanut butter and sandwich thins in the house I’m good.
42. I hate going to bed mad and try to avoid it at all costs!
43. I love riding for hours on back roads with my husband. …I think it is a photography thing.
44. I have boxes and boxes and boxes and boxes of pictures of my children’s childhood, family and items I saved from their school years and tons of love notes from my hubby.  Thanks goodness for digital…now I have hard drives full of that stuff!
45. I am a Sagittarius. Some of the characteristics of a Sagittarius are: great sense of humor, generous, open minded and interested, generally tall, hates to be constrained, light hearted, fun and loving, positive, …seriously, I DID NOT make that up… but that pretty much describes me!
46. I have maybe 2 pictures of myself as a child! That is pitiful and probably the reason I am so obsessed with taking photos!
47. I broke my leg when I was 2 ½ and was in the hospital in traction.
48. I hate milk! I feel like I drank sour milk as a baby…anyway that’s what I think about when I think of milk
49. I feel like I have extra sensitive ears at night. The slightest noise really gets on my nerves.
50. I can't touch popsicle sticks, cardboard plates, or the cardboard that comes as packaging in boxes.  If you chew on a popsicle stick in front of me....OH MY GOODNESS!
